Yacht Event Rules

In order to make your yacht event an unforgettable experience, BLUWEAVE EVENTS LLC ("the Company") has established the following Yacht Event Rules. These Yacht Event Rules become part of any booking agreement between a Customer and the Company:

1.   IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Dubai Coast Guard enforces strict rules on water activities, which are deemed applicable to any yacht event. If such rules are broken by the Customer, the Company, and/or its contracted yacht operator respectively, reserves the right to pass on any fine to the Customer, if the fine is incurred due to non-compliance or disregard for the rules set out by the Coast Guard, other Maritime Authority entities, or enforced by the Captain & Crew in charge during a yacht event.  In this context, the term "the Customer" includes the named/booking customer as well as his/her guests during a yacht event.  

2.   IDs. The Customer is required by law to bring an original ID to the yacht event. Tourists require original passport. Residents can bring their passport, Emirates ID or Emirates Driving License. Failure of compliance can lead to fine of up to AED 1500 per person imposed by Coast Guard. 

3.    LIFE JACKETS. Life jackets are to be worn when the Coast Guard deems necessary & issues a weather warning. 

4.    LITTERING. Littering in the waters is not tolerated and punishable by law. 

5.    SAFETY & SWIMMING. For your safety, swimming after sunset and swimming more than three meters from the yacht is not tolerated by the Coast Guard. Jumping off a yacht while underway or at anchor is not permitted & will result in the yacht event being terminated without any refunds. 

6.    NUMBER OF GUESTS. Final numbers for guests must be reconfirmed by the Customer the night before the event & may not be exceeded on the day & time of the event. 

7.   CATERING POLICY. The Customer is not permitted to bring own catering on board, unless otherwise agreed with the Company before the event.

8.   CHILDREN POLICY. The Customer is solely responsible to attend to children during the entire yacht event. No whatsoever liability can be construed for the Company, its representatives, the Captain & the crew in charge, or any other third party contracted for the fulfillment of a yacht event. Furthermore, on the Coast Guard orders, children under the age of 10 years must wear a life jacket while in the water and out on deck.  Children below 1 year are not allowed to enter the water. Minors must be supervised by a mature adult at all times during the yacht event. 

9.    DAMAGE WAIVER AND LIABILITIES. Should there be, as a direct result of the actions of the Customer (or his guests), any damage to a yacht, its equipment, or to any other yacht event equipment, the Customer will be liable. The damage and cause will be notified to the Customer within 24 hours. A contractor will be instructed to provide an official quotation for the repair or replacement of the damages area or item. This quotation will be forwarded to the Customer, and the amount will be due immediately, and/or be deducted from the card used for the booking.  All damages are quoted full and final. Any extra cleaning, required as a result of Customer (or his guests') behavior during a yacht event, is deemed chargeable as well. Any fines incurred through the local marine authorities due to direct Customer (and his guests') action or failure to comply with policies or instructions by the Company, its representatives, or the Captain and Crew in charge during a yacht event will be chargeable. NO LIABILITY OR WHATSOVER RESPONSIBILITY IS ACCEPTED BY THE COMPANY, ITS REPRESENTATIVES, OR ITS SUB-CONTRACTORS FOR ANY LOSS AND/OR EXPENSES INCURRED BY ACCIDENT, INJURY, SICKNESS, DEATH OR OTHERWISE BY THE CUSTOMER.  No animals or pets of any sort may be taken on board. Smoking is not allowed throughout any yacht's interior. Failure to comply will lead to immediate termination of the event without any refunds. Examples of fines:  Swimming during restricted timings: AED 5000. Lack of ID for guests on board: AED 1500 PER PERSON. Jumping while cruising: AED 10,000. Littering: AED 5,000. 

10. MODIFICATIONS.  The Yacht Event Rules can and will be changed or updated occasionally. Therefore, any (potential & actual) Customer is encouraged to frequently visit this section in order to be updated about the changes. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
