Unless otherwise explicitly agreed on a case-by-case basis, the following terms & conditions apply to any yacht event booking, or any other event booking, respectively the resulting contract ("the agreement") between BLUWEAVE EVENTS LLC ("the Company") and the named/paying event customer and his guests ("the Customer"). 

By booking a yacht event, or any other event, with the Company (BLUWEAVE EVENTS LLC), and at the latest by making a payment, in part or in full, for such an event, the Customer is accepting the following terms & conditions:  

1. CONFIRMATION OF AN EVENT BOOKING 

a) A yacht event, or any other event, is confirmed if (1) the Company has submitted a definitive offer to the Customer, (2) and the Customer has made the full payment before the date & time of the Event. 

b) For an event booking at very short notice, the event is confirmed if (1) the Company has submitted a definitive offer to the Customer, (2) and the Customer has accepted the definitive offer promptly and in writing (text message suffices), hence also has accepted the obligation to pay the quoted price for the event 

2. CANCELLATION & RETENTION POLICIES  

a) The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking in case of bad weather conditions, mechanical/technical failure of the planned yacht, or any other reasons beyond the sphere of the Company itself. In the event of such cancellation, no liability shall fall on the Company. Monies already paid shall be refunded in full to the Customer. 

b) If the Customer cancels the event, and unless otherwise agreed between the Company and the Customer, or unless otherwise stipulated in these terms,  

     o 25% of the booking value will be retained (or remain due) in case of cancellations by the Customer notified to the Company less than 14 days prior to the event time & date.

     o 50% of the booking value will be retained (or remain due) in case of cancellations by the Customer notified to the Company less than 10 days prior to the event time & date. 

     o 100% of the booking value will be retained (or remain due) in case of cancellations by the Customer notified to the Company less than 72 hours prior to the event time & date. 

c) The Customer has the right to cancel the event free of the charges listed above, if any of the following occurs:  

     o Weather warning has been issued by the Coast Guard for the event time & date, and for the event location.  

     o The Company fails to provide an essential element of the agreed yacht, or other, event scope on the time & date of the event. 

3. ONLINE PAYMENT TERMS  

a) Visa, Master Card, America Express, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay will be accepted in AED currency, leveraging the payment gateway of our online payments partner(s).  Online payment fees between 2% and 3% apply and will be notified to the Customer by the Company with the event pricing offer/before payment. 

b) Services will NOT be provided to any of the OFAC (sanctioned) countries in accordance with the law of UAE. 

c) Customers who are Minors / under the age of 18 shall not transact with the Company, or use the website, or make any online payment option. 

4. MISCELLANEOUS

a) The Company reserves the right to charge any damages or violations to the cardholding Customer (as specified in the “Yacht Event Rules” section)  

b) Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website, and/or a booking agreement between the Company and a Customer, shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE 

c) These Terms & Conditions may be changed/updated anytime. Hence, Customers are encouraged to frequently visit this section in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
